Maine turkey hunting has never been better! Over 20 years ago, the State of Maine reintorduced turkeys to the state. Every year we harvest many mature toms. In Maine, the bag limit for turkeys in the spring is 2 toms. This past Spring, 2011 Turkey Season, we had a 100% success rate. Every year for the past 5 years, we have maintained 100% shot opportunity. At Boggy Brook Outfitters, we use tradtional box and slate calls, but also use modern mouth calls and electonic calls. We have all the equipment needed to make your hunt successfull. Ground blinds, calls, decoys, and anything else needed, we have. Turkey hunting requires hunters to get up early. We leave the Lodge at 4:00 AM, and are hunting by 5:00 AM.
2012 Spring Season is April 30 through June 2 .
